Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the more info bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
